The generosity of the community as a whole joins integrally in this task of forming the next generation of children, ensuring families of all income levels have access to a premier education.

Montessori Education
Maria Montessori developed what is now termed the “Montessori method” through careful scientific observations of children in the early 1900’s. The Montessori philosophy of education can be described as an education of the senses, where the child primarily uses physical materials to learn in a truly hands on way. As a faithful Catholic, she attributed her discoveries as a gift from God.

- St Monica’s Montessori aims in every way, to be grounded in the principles of the Catholic faith!!
- The Way of the Shepherd Catholic Montessori School in Blaine, MN, with 25 years of experience melding Montessori with Catholicism, is contracted to assist in developing our program.
- The “Catechesis of the Good Shepherd” is weekly religious formation for all children.
- Daily work starts with each child taking a moment of prayer, asking Jesus to guide them through their day.
- Our goal is to continue communications in order to seek approbation through the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fargo.

St Monica's does not charge a set "tuition" for attendance at our school. Operating out of a generosity model of funding, we ask families to give a meaningful and sacrificial gift for the education of their children. This requires putting on a lens of "tithing" regarding the cost of education.
